To get pregnant, it not new that they must be a fusion between sperm and egg and that can take up to 6 days after conception (the acrosome reaction), afterward the two DNA will join together to form the zygote, known as the first cell of the future baby.
The most commune symptom if you are pregnant is amenorrhea, the absence of a menstrual cycle, however some claim they begin to feel changes in their body before the menstrual delay. The first logical signs may appear only after implantation and that´s 7 to 10 days after conception, as the egg moves towards the uterine cavity, hormonal changes begin in the body. Let name a few:
Swelling, hard and painful breast.
Due to the high level of hormones, the breast swells and this growth does not end just with the first trimester, unlike the pain and the hardness. This phenomenon can be one of the first symptoms of conception, due to the raising of the prolactin, the hormone that prepares the breast for milk production. The areolas tend to become darker, but this generally occurs in the following weeks.
Try applying hot water packs to alleviate the pain and if it’s not getting any better, consult a gynecologist to apply some ointments, progestin-based.
Headaches due to the hormonal storm.
Headache in pregnancy is certainly one of the most common, especially in the first few weeks, caused by increased blood pleasure, anemia, sleep difficulties… There are many ways to get rid of a headache naturally or with medicines but you really need to be careful if you are pregnant, Unfortunately, most headaches medicines are incompatible with pregnancy.
It is always important to talk to your doctor, so he or she can indicate the most suitable therapy without causing harm to the fetus, mostly if you experience blurred vision, abdominal swelling.
Implantation bleeding- a slight loss of blood
Implantation bleeding is a physiological process in which the embryo is implanted in the inner wall of the uterus, called the endometrium, and then comes the fertilization of the egg and it’s nesting in the uterus.
These process can cause the rupture of some blood vessel and the appearance of a slight vaginal blood loss similar to menstruation but in these case, the flow does not last longer than 48 hours.
Not all women experience blood spotting, some may not even notice, in other cases plant losses may occur later, ending up coinciding with the expected date of menstrual flow or pregnancy.
Fatigue and drowsiness- feeling exhausted all-day
Progesterone is the hormone responsible for that, it slows down the body and relaxes the smooth muscles in order to make the uterus less sensitive to the implantation of the fertilized egg.
It also relaxes the muscles of the small peripheral blood vessels, producing a decrease in blood pressure.
If u´ve been feeling tired performing normal daily activities and you do not have a fever or some ongoing infection and have not worked more than usual, it could actually be a pregnancy symptom.
Mood swings – unstable behaviors
During pregnancy, you can feel caught in bad moods and tears, anxiety but also happy for no reason, mood swings are frequent especially in the first and last semesters
They are very frequent and makes women’s vulnerable and unstable but also wonderfully sensitive and empathetic.
Abdominal cramps due to expansion of the uterus
The appearance of lower abdominal cramps can be easily confused for the usual pre-menstruation cramps that can be more violent than pregnancy abdominal cramps.
During the first few weeks of pregnancy, slight cramps may occur to widen the uterus, making room for the development of the embryo. If they are severe pain, it is a good idea to refer them immediately to your gynecologist.
– Morning sickness- commune disorder in pregnancy
About 80% of pregnant women suffer from morning sickness, this unpleasant sensation is accompanied by vomiting and a strong aversion to certain smells that become particularly annoying and foods that suddenly you do not appreciate anymore
This feeling occurs mainly in the morning for the first trimester, but this may not be the case for all women, some have to deal with nausea at any time of the day, night or even throughout the pregnancy.
Drink a lot of water if you are vomiting frequently, to avoid dehydration.
Frequent urination after conception
A constant need to go to pee could be a sign of pregnancy in progress. This phenomenon takes often place after conception, due to the action of progesterone which relaxes the smooth muscles of the bladder and urethra and limits the ability to retain pee.
This disorder also occurs in the last weeks of pregnancy when the belly is bulky and the child pushes on the bladder.
But be careful not to mistake this “symptom” for an infection signal, if it accompanied by burning or pain, go see your ob
These symptoms vary from woman to woman, some have to deal with these problems every day while some only for a period or never have to.
